Production services in Jordan

You bring the project. We handle Jordan.

We have been servicing shoots in Jordan since 2011 — features, series, commercials, documentaries, corporate films and stills campaigns. We work with production companies, broadcasters, agencies and brands from Europe, North America and across the region.

Why us

We are actually in Jordan.

Most companies offering “filming in Jordan” are agencies abroad who sub-contract the work to someone local. We are the someone local. Our office is in Jabal Al-Lweibdeh in Amman, our crew are Jordanian, and when your permit needs a phone call at seven in the morning, we are the ones making it.

What full service means

You land. Someone is at the airport with your name on a card and your permits already approved.

Before you arrive

  • Location scouting and recce packages
  • Filming permits through the Royal Film Commission and the relevant governorates
  • Military, archaeological site and border-area clearances
  • Budget and schedule build
  • Cash rebate assessment and application
  • Visas and carnet support for incoming kit

While you shoot

  • Local crew, from a single operator to a full unit
  • Transport, 4x4s and desert logistics
  • Accommodation from Amman hotels to Wadi Rum camps
  • Catering and craft
  • On-set translation and Arabic-language production support
  • Security liaison where the location needs it

Services

Four things we do properly

01

Full production service & fixing

Permits, locations, crew, transport, accommodation and government liaison. From first recce to wrap.

02

Equipment, sourced to spec

We do not publish a kit list, because a kit list goes out of date the week you write it. Tell us what the production needs and we build the package — from our own inventory and the rental houses we work with in Amman. If it does not exist in the region, we bring it in and handle the carnet.

03

Casting

Local actors, models, presenters and background talent — Jordanian, regional and international faces living in Jordan. We run the sessions, handle the releases and manage the talent on the day.

04

Post-production

Edit, colour grade, sound design and mix, delivered from Amman. Plus the audit paperwork if you are claiming the rebate.

Locations

Mars, the ancient world and a modern Arab capital, inside a four-hour drive

  • Wadi Rum
  • Petra
  • The Dead Sea
  • Amman
  • Jerash
  • Aqaba
  • The Jordan Valley
  • The eastern desert
  • Ajloun
  • The Kings Highway

We know every one of these by name — which permits take a week, which take a month, and who to call. We tell you that before you lock the schedule, not after.

Worth knowing

Jordan pays back up to 45% of what you spend

The Royal Film Commission’s cash rebate. It is not a flat rate — it scales on a points system, and the ceiling comes with conditions. Here is how it actually works.

  • 25% to 45% of qualifying spend inside Jordan, for international productions.
  • The rate is set by a points system weighing the size of the production, how much Jordanian cultural content it carries, and its artistic, cultural and economic value.
  • The 45% ceiling is for productions spending over USD 10 million that also incorporate Jordanian cultural elements.
  • Jordanian productions: 30% on spend above USD 500,000.

We will tell you straight whether your project qualifies and roughly where it lands on that scale — before you build the budget around it — and handle the application and the audit if you go ahead.

Per the Royal Film Commission’s scheme announced in May 2025. Terms are confirmed against the Commission directly on every project.
